Jared was born and raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho. When he was young, he was diagnosed with Type I Juvenile Diabetes. That experience was life altering for him but he still loved being active and trying out new experiences and challenges. During high school he played football and ran track until he was a senior at which point, he suffered a dual-shoulder injury that ultimately introduced him to Physical Therapy.

He is passionate about helping people succeed, encouraging them to achieve their goals, and supporting his patients as he walks the journey with them through recovery. He loves travelling as well and tries to integrate the two when he is able, having had the opportunity to go on two medical mission trips (to Guatemala and Moldova).

When he is not investing himself into Physical Therapy, he loves spending time with his wife Meredith, whom he met in Moscow, Idaho, and their baby daughter. Together they enjoy weekends with family, camping and the outdoors, watching Steelers football, and taking opportunities to learn and try new things.
