Matt was born and raised in Spokane and graduated from Whitworth University with a B.A. in Health Sciences in January 2015. During his time at Whitworth he played collegiate soccer and confirmed his interest in physical therapy. He then graduated from the Eastern Washington University as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2019.

Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, Felicia, and their three young children, playing soccer, and cycling. As a family they enjoy being outside, walking to local parks, and spending time with family and friends.
