Steve was born in the Bay Area and attended high school in northern CA where he was a multi-sport athlete, excelling in football, basketball, baseball and tennis. He attended College of the Siskiyous where he received an AA degree in general education, and Cal State University, Chico where he obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Athletic Training. He eventually obtained a Master’s of Sports Sciences degree from University of the Pacific. As a certified Athletic Trainer Steve worked for the Chigaco White Sox and Tampa Bay Devil Rayes professional baseball organizations as well as working in collegiate athletic and outpatient physical therapy settings.
Before landing in Coeur d’Alene Steve’s passion for the outdoors lead him to jobs in Salmon and St. Maries, Idaho. In 2015 Steve earned his Physical Therapist Assistants degree from NIC and shortly thereafter began his career at NIPT.
